This is likely to be caused by either a missing DNS entry or redirect configuration.
To check the WWW DNS record for your domain, first access cPanel DNS settings and manage the affected domain. Check that a CNAME record exists pointing to your primary domain. For example:
- Name: www.acme.com
- Type: CNAME
- Record: acme.com
If the record is missing add a new record with the above values. If the record exists, next check cPanel redirect settings. If no redirect exists, create a new redirect with the following settings:
- Type: Permanent
- https?://(www.)?: (select the desired domain from dropdown)
- www. redirection: Only redirect with www.
- Wild Card Redirect: checked
Click "Add"button to complete setup.
